OK, so who has never heard of Looney Tunes? They are some of the classic cartoon characters that our parents and we grew up with. The Looney Tune characters were with us when we were babies and will be with us when we are old folks. Because these characters have been around for decades, it makes sense that they would have their own video game, right? Well, take a look at Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, which is a little different from what was expected from a Looney Tunes video game. This game is not impressive, slightly confusing and has low quality graphics. Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal is an overall disappointment, probably because we expect there to be such a high level of quality with anything to do with the Looney Tunes brand. In the game, you are assigned two different characters, which you can switch between, whenever you want. You jump, smash and shoot your way through many different evil robots and obstacles, in search of blueprints to a time machine. However, unlike most well organised and laid out video games, Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal does not give you any objective when starting the game. Instead, you have to find the plot by looking in the instruction manual and we all know that very few of us actually read them. The levels are creative and colourful, but that’s about it and they aren’t even that impressive. If you simply must buy a video game today, don’t even think about getting Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal.
